PokeFuse – New Pokemon Fusion Fan Game

There is an entertaining Pokemon fan game called ‘Pokemon Infinite Fusion’ that is an enjoyable rerendering of Pokemon. The game introduced the fusion function, allowing players/trainers to merge their team into novel monstrosities. This concept prompted me to create a much more simplistic, yet enjoyable fangame myself – PokeFuse.

While a full story revolving around this fusion mechanic is enjoyable, it may leave a longing for a battle frontier like option, allowing players to rapidly create unique teams and challenge other combinations. They can quickly be exposed to the entertaining art and unique battle scenarios derrived from the fusions. That is where PokeFuse comes in.

PokeFuse

In PokeFuse, players are presented with 12 mons that must all be merged with one another. This will lead to a team of 6 fused monsters. To determine who to merge, players can view their opponent’s set of 12 then choose the right stats, abilities, and order to combat them. PokeFuse also offers two battle modes.

Clash Mode

In clash mode, custom abilities are paired with a custom, automated battle system for a rapid battle! Play against 5 different difficulty computers or challenge friends in a PVP!

Pokeathlon Mode

Pokeathlon mode allows for the same fusing and drafting of mons and allows you to take the outputs and paste them into Pokeathlon for a true, classic battle! While some moves and abilities are auto-filled, players should update them as desired on Pokeathlon and validate their viability for the custom fusion category before competing
