The concept of the lottery allows one to chase a dream. While, you’re likely to lose, businesses and states guarantee funding. When a store (a gas station in this example) sells a winning lottery ticket, they earn ~1% of the funding. Since they aren’t buying the ticket themselves, there is no risk. The incredibly brief idea here is simple: Create a dedicated lottery shop where you advertise that folks earn extra money if they win (~0.5%). This could drive folks to you to turn in their tickets. You can also offer ticket mailing services to turn in ‘second chance’ tickets that many states offer. Furthermore, this lottery shop can be expanded into a fun shop that includes things like trading card opening, custom vending machines, arcade games, and potentially even sell prediction market contracts!
This is a super brief idea, but I believe the concept will attract a variety of users and minimal real-estate would be required!
